Sarcomas are tumors of the connective, muscular or supporting tissue. At KiTZ, the division of Dr. Thomas Grünewald has been working on the development of translational approaches for the diagnosis and therapy of childhood sarcomas since April 2020. In addition, two research groups are dedicated to the study of soft tissue sarcoma (Head: Dr. Ana Banito) and osteosarcoma (Head: Prof. Dr. Andreas Kulozik).
